Each student received two pairs of pants, six shirts, jacket, socks, underwear, athletic shoes, blanket, book, hygiene kit, hat, gloves, school supplies, and backpack; 258 schools served.

Stuffed bears were given to 45 local agencies to comfort children and adults in crisis situations.

Outreach

Outreach assistance included the following items: books to legal aid, car seats to Baby’s Bounty, sweats and shirts to UMC and Sunrise Hospital to benefit the unhoused, winter wear and household items donated to veterans housing agency, College of Southern Nevada’s Coyote Cupboard received food donations.

Scholarships

$153,750 in scholarships was provided to Clark County High School Seniors and other Nevada residents to attend an accredited college or trade school in Nevada.

The Kids on the Block

Elementary students in grades 1-3 were provided puppet performances at their school about bullying, divorce, disabilities, curriculum skills, special needs and learning disabilities.

Angel’s Assistance

Desert Sage Auxiliary provided tray favors for pediatric hospital patients, “Shadow Buddies” for pediatric oncology patients, health kits and blankets for mothers in need, memory boxes for families of infants that do not survive birth, and a book cart for pediatric oncology patients.

Desert Sage Auxiliary provided textbooks and food to students accepted into the UNLV’s HOPE Scholars Program.
